Food waste is all too common and we'd like to change that by giving you [ our community] a few tips, tricks and inspiration that'll help reduce your food waste starting with leftover ciabatta.
Ciabatta Bread Pizza
A grown-up play on a childhood favorite ciabatta pizzas have become a family favorite in our house. This recipe is more of a guideline so don't feel as though you HAVE to add these items to your grocery list. Substitute your pantry staples wherever necessary.
P.S. This recipe makes a killer crostini!
Yields 8 squares. Serves 6-8ppl
Ingredients
1 loaf of ciabatta
1 16oz jar of your favorite tomato or white sauce
3 cups of fresh mozzarella [low moisture], gouda or fontina
1 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano
As much or as little Prosciutto or Pepperoni as you like - optional
Olive oil
